Dear Friends,

We’re thrilled to share some wonderful news: The Store at Five Corners Stewardship Association will welcome new operators of The Store at Five Corners in the spring! Colleen and Sean Taylor of Bay State Hospitality Group, LLC will be taking the helm of this historic gathering place.

Sean and Colleen are brother and sister who grew up in the Northern Berkshires and have been serving our community since 1986. Together, they operate three beloved local establishments:  Freight Yard Pub and Restaurant (a community favorite for over 30 years), Trail House Kitchen (known for its farm-to-table American fare), and Craft Food Barn (their innovative take-out concept), in addition to Berkshire Catering Co., providing creative offerings for large and small gatherings throughout the region.

The Store will remain closed through the winter while Colleen and Sean complete the licensing and permitting process and prepare the Store for a full reopening. We are hopeful that The Store will continue to host popular community events such as the monthly women’s gathering during this transition period.

A Heartfelt Farewell

This transition means saying goodbye to Corey Wentworth, who was instrumental in bringing The Store back to life in 2022. Since then, Corey has created a vibrant community hub and has served countless delicious meals and treats to our community. We are grateful for everything Corey has contributed and wish him great success in his future endeavors.

Looking forward

We will keep you updated as the Taylors move toward their official opening date. If you’re not already on the Stewardship Association’s mailing list, please drop us a note at info@storeatfivecorners.org.

Thank you for your continued support of our beloved Store!

Warmly,

Board of Directors
